About the Symposium
National Symposium on 'Seed Health and Disease Management for Agricultural
Biosecurity,' would be a pioneering gathering of minds dedicated to fortifying
the foundation of our agricultural future. Set against the backdrop of
innovation and sustainability, this symposium, scheduled for January 17, 2024,
promises to be a pivotal moment in the realm of seed health and biosecurity.
This symposium will provide a
platform for researchers, educators, industrialists and young students
to share, learn and exchange experiences, innovations, possibilities,
and concerns in the field of basic
and applied plant pathology.
Our symposium will unravel the intricate tapestry of plant health,
delving into six dynamic themes that define the forefront of agricultural
science. From the precision of plant disease diagnostics to the nuanced dance
of host-pathogen interactions, we embark on a journey to understand the
delicate balance that sustains our crops.
Agriculture biosecurity and biosafety take center stage,
reflecting our commitment to safeguarding the essence of agriculture. As we
explore plant disease management, we seek innovative solutions to address
current challenges and anticipate those on the horizon. The symposium concludes
with a focus on post-harvest challenges, acknowledging the continuum of care
required from seed to sustenance.
Zone would comprise an exciting program including presidential address, keynote
addresses, award lectures
and poster presentations on topics related to the
themes. So, join us in fostering
collaboration, sharing cutting-edge research, and cultivating a vision for a
resilient agricultural future. Your participation will contribute to a vibrant
tapestry of ideas and solutions, weaving together the threads of knowledge that
will shape the landscape of seed health and agricultural biosecurity for years
to come. Together, let us sow the seeds of progress and innovation.
