Birth & Educations: Dr. Ramjibhai Parmar born in Melaj village of Taluka Viramgam, Ahmedabad district of Gujarat State. Dr. Parmar earned B.Sc. (Ag.) in 1996, M.Sc. (Ag.) Plant Pathology in 2000 and Ph.D. in Plant Pathology in 2007 from Anand Agricultural University, Anand, Gujarat.

Positions hold: Assistant Professor (2009-2012); Associate Professor (2012 to 2019); Head (2020 till date); Vice President, ISMPP (2023-24); Convener, PPSC of AGRESCO (2020-2022); Zonal Coordinator of Plant Protection Association of Gujarat. Dr. Parmar started his professional career as an Assistant Professor (Plant Pathology) in January 2009 at S. D. Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar. In October 2012, joined Navsari Agricultural University as an Associate Professor and again selected as an Associate Professor in AAU, Anand on 26^th February, 2013. He has a 14 years career dedicated to teaching at UG and PG levels, research and extension activities.

Awards/Honours: Dr. Parmar received many prestigious awards and recognitions especially ICAR funded Best Teacher Award in Higher Agricultural Education 2021-22; Dr. D. J. Gold medal in 2008, ISMPP-sponsored PP Singhal PI Industries Memorial Award 2008; Best Senior Scientist award by Agro Environmental Development Society, U.P. in 2020,  Excellence in Research Award Shri Ram Avtar Shiksha Samiti  in 2020, Plant Protection Association of Gujarat (PPAG) sponsored Associate Scientist Award-2020; Shri Varadhbhai Ambaidas Patel Best UG Teacher Award 2021 by BACA Alumni Association, BACA, AAU, Anand;
