Brief Biodata

Birth & Educations: Born on 14th October, 1973 at Bardhaman, West Bengal and graduated from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya in 1996 with 1st division. Later pursued M.Sc. (Agriculture) in Plant Pathology and Ph.D. in Plant Pathology in 1999 and 2003, respectively from the same University with 1st Division.

 

Positions hold: Assistant Pathologist under AINP on Jute & Allied Fibres from July 2003 at UBKV; Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology, from June, 2011; Associate Professor of Department of Plant Pathology from May, 2014 to May, 2017; Professor of Department of Plant Pathology from May, 2017 to till date.

Administrative Responsibilities Performed: Officer in-charge of the project of AINP on Jute & Allied Fibres, Cooch Behar centre in April, 2006 to May 2011; Head of the Department of Plant Pathology, UBKV from September, 2014 to September, 2018; Deputy Registrar (Actg.), Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya from 31.6.2020 to till date; Registrar in absence of Regular Registrar, UBKV time to time from 2021 to till date; Dean, Post Graduate Studies (Actg.) in absence of Regular Dean, PGS time to time from 2021 to till date
