Birth & Educations: Dr Malkhan Singh Gurjar was born at Village-Abhanery, Dist-Dausa (Rajasthan), India. Dr Gurjar educated at SKN College of Agriculture, Jobner under RAU, Bikaner (Raj.) for MSc (Plant Pathology) and at Division of Plant Pathology, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi for PhD (Plant Pathology).

Positions hold: ARS Scientist (2010- 2015) at ICAR-CPRI, Central Potato Research Station, Shillong, Meghalaya. Scientist (Sr. Scale) at Division of Plant Pathology, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi-110012 from 2015 to till date.

Research Areas: Wheat diseases mainly in the front areas of genomics of plant pathogens (Karnal bunt & Spot blotch disease), genetic diversity, host-pathogen interaction, detection and host resistance. Worked in aeroponics technology at ICAR-Central Potato Research Station, Shillong. Identification of potato bacterial wilt strains of phylotype I, II and IV of Ralstonia solanacearum.
