Birth & Educations: Born at Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar. Graduated from Allahabad Agricultural University  in the year 1996, Completed the M.Sc. (Ag.) from Department of Mycology and Plant Pathology, Collage of Agriculture,  Birsa Agricultural University, Kanke Ranchi Jharkhand in the year 1999 thereafter Ph. D. (Plant Pathology) from Department of Mycology and Plant Pathology, Collage of Agriculture,  Birsa Agricultural University, Kanke Ranchi Jharkhand in the year 2004.

Positions hold: Served as Research associate in NAIP, IPM projcet, at Divyayan KVK, Ranchi, for one year then joined another ICAR funded IVLP Poject in the Birsa Agricultural Unversity, Kanke Ranchi Jharkhand for one year. I joined SKUAST- Jammu as Assistant Professor in the year 2005 and served in various capacity like; Assistant Director of Research for 01 year, Assistant professor for 12 years, Associate professor for 03 years, and Professor 02 years. I also served as Station In-charge, Regional Agricultural Research Station, Rajouri for 04 years during my service tenure as Associate Professor and Professor.

Awards/Honours: Received Gold Medal Award (2011) for contribution in the field of Plant Pathology, by Scientific and Applied Research Centre, Meerut (UP).
