Birth & Educations: Born on 28^th September, 1979 at Kolkata. Completed Ph.D. in Agriculture (Plant Pathology) in the year 2007 from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Mohanpur, West Bengal.

Positions hold: Imparted duties of Pathologist in Indian Council of Agricultural Research-All India Coordinated Research Project (ICAR-AICRP) of Rice, Forage Crops and Pigeonpea. Have extension, research and teaching experience of more than 16 (sixteen) years in NEH region.

Awards /Honours: Scroll of Honour by Indian Phytopathological Society in the year 2018, Distinguished Scientist Award by Agro Environmental Development Society (AEDS) in the year 2021.

Research Areas:  Mycology and Bio-agents.

Significant scientific contributions to Plant Pathology: Published over 33 Research Papers on different Journals or book of repute. Supervised Research Project under the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India. Acted as Zonal Councillor of Indian Phytopathological Society (North Eastern Zone) in the year 2018.
