Birth & Educations: I was borne on August 10, 1986 at Ramalwas, Distt. Bhiwani, Haryana and
got my primary education in hometown. After my Matriculation and Intermediate from
Haryana Board of School Education, joined University College Kurukshetra in 2005
for graduation programme. Thereafter, moved to CCS Haryana Agriculture University,
Hisar in 2008 for my Master’s & Doctoral Degrees in Molecular biology and
Biotechnology.
Positions hold: I stated my professional carrier as ARS Scientist at
on January 1, 2014 and posted at ICAR-National Bureau of Plant Genetic
Resources, New Delhi on April 09, 2014 and got promoted as Scientist (Sr. Scale)
on January 1, 2018. I have been serving for the last ~9 years
at ICAR-NBPGR, New Delhi and working on molecular based detection and identification
of seed-borne pathogens along with quarantine clearance of germplasm under
exchange since April 09, 2014.

Research
Areas: With ~9 years of professional research experience in
molecular diagnostic of seed borne pathogens. I have contributed though several in-house as well as externally funded
projects sponsored by ICAR/DBT and major research areas are: Molecular diagnostic protocol development for
seed-borne fungal/bacterial pathogens; Genetic diversity analysis of seed-borne
fungal pathogens using various molecular markers; Plant biosecurity through
quarantine processing of germplasm; Screening of germplasm against various
pathogens.
