Dr. Kalyan K. Mondal, Principal Scientist at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, India.
Dr. Mondal has long working experience on bacterial diseases of rice and pomegranate. Dr. Mondal’s group for the first time demonstrated the total composition of effector proteins in blight pathogen of rice and pomegranate. His group deciphered the function of bacterial effector proteins in modulating plant immunity.
